Here’s a preliminary list of cities on the 2016 Fall Tour! Fall is normally my busiest time of the year. In an average year, I tour between 30 and 40 cities between August and November and then take a nice long vacation in November. This year, I’ve decided to take most of November to go overseas to perform for our troops before Thanksgiving.
If you’re interested in attending a show listed in your city, let me know. Many of these shows are on college campuses. Sometimes they are open to the public, sometimes they aren’t.

TUESDAY, JULY 26 8pm at Shadowbox Live’s Backstage Bistro! Tickets $5
Join Magician Michael Kent as he does his best to try to stump scientists Dan Mushalko and Robert Pyatt using prestidigitation (that means sleight of hand). If Michael can stump the scientists, does that mean magic is real?! Come to celebrate science, magic, and the occasional blurring of the lines between the two!
I stopped by WSYX FOX28/ABC6 to appear on Good Day Columbus with Marshall McPeek and Courtney Khondabi this week. We talked about my upcoming appearance on “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” and I performed a new trick with a lottery ticket!
I just got word that I’ll be appearing on the SEASON PREMIERE of Season 3 of “PENN & TELLER: FOOL US” on The CW July 13 at 8pm EST.
UPDATE: For those watching in Central Ohio, check your local listing. Most cable providers are airing the show at 9pm AFTER the Columbus Crew game. AT&T Uverse will air the show at 10pm.
On the show, aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller, who will get to see the trick only once and have to immediately try to work it out. Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
“Penn & Teller: Fool Us” is hosted by Actress, Alyson Hannigan (How I Met Your Mother, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and is created and produced by 117 PRODUCTIONS and September Films (part of DCD Media), with executive producers Penn Jillette, Teller, Peter Adam Golden and Andrew Golder. I appear on the season premiere, episode #304, which will air on July 13 at 8pm EST and re-air on July 25.
Here are four chances to see Michael in Columbus this summer! While The Dublin Coffman Park show and the “Michael Kent vs. The Scientists” show will be full-length performances, the other two are simply guest appearances where I’ll be interviewed without performing much magic – ALL of them should be a great time! For info and links, see below!

There’s a reason Michael Kent has been named ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR by Campus Activities Magazine and MAGICIAN OF THE YEAR by The Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities. Michael gives magic a facelift with irreverent comedy and satire. His unique style of performing magic has made him a FAVORITE in over 500 college campuses he’s visited. Michael has performed for audiences all over the globe – from Hollywood, California to US Troops serving overseas. Many colleges and universities book him YEAR AFTER YEAR because students can’t wait to see the show again!
In a style reminiscent of a late-night talk show, Michael invites the audience to laugh with him at the absurdity of a modern-day magician. Michael’s audiences experience what its like when a stand up comic performs (and occasionally pokes fun at) the art of magic.
