I spent all day yesterday at Madison Park Productions doing some Voiceover work before the tour starts Saturday.
Monday night, I had an amazing brainstorming session with some friends about possible new bits for the show. One of them is an almost show-ready idea. Another one is going to take a lot more work.
The biggest change to the show that will take place in September is a major change to the chicken trick. I’ve been doing the chicken trick for more than 10 years. And besides improvements and tweaks, it’s stayed the same for the most part. I decided to throw a GIANT curveball into the routine. I won’t say too much about it until I’ve taken it to the stage, but I’m VERY excited. The only down-side is that I’ve also now added an additional 5 lbs of weight to my show luggage. It will certainly be worth it, though! The only thing I can say is that rubber gloves are now a DEFINITE requirement in the show. Went to Walgreens and picked up a boat-load of them.
Also – lots of fun new music in the show. Here’s an idea:
I leave in the morning for two shows tomorrow night in Springfield, MO at Missouri State. Then it’s off to Lexington, KY for a show at UK. I’m going to do my best to get as much video and photos as I can to let you all experience the tour with me. The tour officially gets crazy busy starting…..NOW.
peace, love and ANIMALS,
MK
